Solutiions to Burnout in newsrooms survey

What are the solutions to the growing problem of burnout in journalism?

The Reynolds Journalism Institute at the University of Missouri is conducting an anonymous survey of current and former United States based journalists, journalism students and journalism educators to see what changes newsrooms and journalism schools could make to help prevent professional burnout.

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and not only will the results be shared widely but we expect this public dataset to be highly useful to future researchers who want to dig deeper into the topic. By taking the survey and encouraging others to take it as well you’ll be helping a solutions-first approach to tackling an important problem in the news industry.

You can take the survey here and share this link with other journalists: https://surveys.smithgeiger.com/survey/selfserve/bec/231006
