The Multicultural Media & Correspondents Association (MMCA) family joins in the celebration of Karine Jean-Pierre's appointment as the Biden Administration's new White House Press Secretary.

Karine Jean-Pierre makes history as she becomes the nation's first Black woman and openly LGBTQ+ person to serve as White House Press Secretary.

On August 19th, 2021, MMCA had the privilege of recognizing Karine Jean-Pierre as our Newsmaker Award Honoree during our Media Diversity Excellence Awards Reception.
